Adikanfo Excerpts of Reopening and many more

The Presbyterian College of Education, Akropong Akuapem which is popularly known as the mother of schools reopened per directives on the 8th day of May 2021 were only prospective Third years, and few selected SRC executives were to report on the said date while freshers(first years) report on the 9th May 2021.

Reporting of Freshers(First years)
The freshers reported to campus on the 9th day of May 2021. Second-years and SRC executives on campus welcomed them nicely and peacefully to the campus. Their names were checked and signed in to their respective Hall of the resident.

Registration of second years
Second-years were asked to pay half of the semester fees to get themselves registered. It wasn’t easy for students facing financial constraint although most made payment and got registered,
others are now yet to pay.

Opening Ceremony & Orientation of Freshers

The opening ceremony was held on the 8th May 2021 @the Emmanuel Kingsley Osei Hall. The College Chaplain. Rev. William A. Brantuo gave the opening prayer.

The College choir sang joyful songs and College Secretary gave a declaration of purpose. The principal, Rev. Dr. Nicholas Apreh Siaw gave the welcome address and wish students a blessed and
fruitful stay on campus. The announcement is given and closing prayer is said by Associate Chaplain.

Orientation began for freshers on the same said date of 9th May to I5th May 2021

Freshers had the opportunity to learn a lot about the college, its beliefs, values, and norms. They received counseling on how to study, rules and regulations on campus, College tours among others.

Prospective Level 200 Trainees at Home

Level 200 students at home are waiting patiently for virtual studies/learning to commence. Trainees although have a lot of complaints, this is the new norm we are to get used to.

Our Humble Plea To TTAG National Executives

Our humble plea is that TTAG should try their best possible to secure our feeding components for us this time around and if possible should fight for the reduction of
our fees.
