Atebubu College of Education suspends a Level 300 trainee with immediate effect
Atebubu College of Education has suspended a Level 300 trainee in accordance with the decision of the College’s Disciplinary Committee.
The Principal, Dr. Samuel Addae-Boateng, signed a letter dated 17th January 2023 where copies were also sent to the College Secretary, STS Coordinator, Students Affairs Officer, Academic Affairs Officer, Students Allowance Coordinator, and to the Student’s file.
In the said letter, a Level 300 teacher trainee of Atebubu College of Education by name Atatogra Peter Kafari Dickson was suspended under the decision of the College’s Disciplinary Committee.
According to the letter, the College’s Disciplinary Committee (DC) said the said Level 300 teacher trainee was reported for an alleged misconduct.

However, in the issued rustication letter, the said misconduct was not captured.
The issued rustication letter to the suspended Level teacher of Atebubu College of Education reads:
The Disciplinary Committee set up to investigate the allegation of misconduct against you submitted its report.
The Committee found you guilty and recommended that you should be suspended for one Academic year.
The Committee’s recommendations were upheld by the College Principal.
You have subsequently been rusticated for one (1) Academic year with immediate effect.
You are expected to resume your Level 400 work in the next Academic year (2023/2024).
You are, however, to take note of the following conditions attached to your suspension:
- You shall be permitted to take part in the Level 300 students’ remaining end-of-semester
examinations to complete the Level 300 course.
However, you would not be posted/allowed to participate in the upcoming Macro Teaching until next year. - You would be required to sign a bond of good behaviour upon your resumptions.
- You would be required to avail yourself to be counselled on leadership qualities upon your resumption.
4: You would be required to pay your students fees in full before you will be registered to continue with your programme.
Please note that your student allowances shall not be paid to you for the period you will be serving your punishment.
