Miss Rita Agbenyo, a level 200 trainee of Foso College of Education who also doubles as the SRC Vice President has emerged as the Ist Runner Up for the Miss Kasoa 2021 pageantry
The Pageantry which started in 2011 has witnessed many ladies been groomed and well equipped to undertake projects which would seek to empower the youth and more importantly empower the vulnerable especially in the environs of Kasoa.
This year’s edition had 16 interested ladies who had the passion to be partakers in the competition. However 7 of them pulled out as the final day of the competition got closer, leaving the contestants to a total of 9.
Miss Rita, also an Ist Runner Up for the 2019 Face of Foscoe participated in this Miss Kasoa 2021 edition which took place on the 9th May 2021at Nsanya Senior High School.
After series of events (Voting, Eviction, and the exhibition of talents) she conquered 7 ladies making her the Ist Runner Up in the competition.
speaking with TWJ on her enviable fact attained, Miss Rita Agbenyo aired that She was very happy and also knows that she has a great task ahead of her.
I Will go about my project by organizing small programs where experts will come and teach my fellow youth in Kasoa how to make good use of their hands. This I believe will go a long way in promoting self-employment and economic development, she added.
Miss Rita Agbenyo received a cash prize of Gh2000.00 Fridge and was awarded a certificate for placing the Ist Runner Up.
