How To Fill NSS Online Registration Form

HOW YOU WILL START NSS ONLINE REGISTRATION

1. Go to nss.gov.gh
2. At the homepage, click on the menu Icon.

i . Navigate to the NSS portal.

ii . Scroll to the tab, ONLINE REGISTRATION- ENROLLMENT.

3. Open the Online Registration-Enrollment tab.

i . You can skip the above steps and simply open this direct link ➡ https://portal.nss.gov.gh/registration-signin

4. Having opened the link, you see two spaces or fields.
5. First, enter your index number. Eg, 131919010 or
   B103180065.
6. Then enter your DATE OF BIRTH. Eg, 19/02/1997
7. After entering both the Index Number & the DOB, check below & click on ACCESS REGISTRATION FORM.
8. The Registration form will be opened.
9. You will be asked to select your means of Identification.
10. Click on the drop-down menu to select the type of ID you want to use.
    Types of ID are voter ID, ssnit card, Driver’s license, or Travelling passport.
11. After selecting the ID type, enter the ID number.
12. After entering the ID number, the image of the ID card shall be displayed on your screen.
13. The system will do its verification & score your identity match.
    You can be scored perfect, good, fair & bad.

If your score is bad, it means the ID card may not be your own. So NSS will investigate it.

14. NOTE: The registration forms are on pages.
    Anytime you finish with one page, check below the page & click on Save & continue.
15. After clicking on Save & Continue you will be moved to the next page.
16. You will be required to upload your passport photograph.
17. The size of the photograph should not be more than 1 megabyte.
18. The dimensions of the photo should be 150200 pixels.*
19. Passport photo with white background is preferable.
    However, you can use a photo with a red background too.
20. It Is advisable to be in Nursing Uniform for the passport picture.
21. You are required to fill in all the relevant information.
22. However, any field or space without asterisks( ) is optional. You can decide not to fill any question without asterisks ()
23. Eg, You can skip where you’re asked for your GPS digital address because
    there are no asterisks there.
24. Anytime you’re providing a contact or telephone number, just write it straightforward like 05407044**
    Don’t start with +2335407044**
25. You will use your email address to check the Appointment Letter.
    Make sure you provide an accurate email address.
26. 🌹 Be circumspect when you get to the employment history page.
27. At the employment history page, you will be asked whether you are currently employed.

🌳 If you’re not currently receiving a monthly salary it means you’re currently not employed so, select NO.

🎍If you are currently receiving a monthly salary, it means you’re currently employed. So select YES.

If you select YES, it means you’re currently employed.
You will, therefore, be asked to provide some information about the current employer and the Organization you’re currently working.

20. The next question will be:
    Have you previously done your national service?

🌹 Select No because you all are yet to do your service.

21. You shall also be asked to provide the
    Length of your trouser, waist of trousers & size of your shirt neck.
22. You will be asked to select 3 different Regions for NSS to post you to one of the regions you choose.
23. You will also be asked to provide your Industrial Preference option.
24. After filling in all the relevant information, you are to click on submit.
25. After submitting the registration form, you will receive a Congratulations message. Dear Prince Money your NSS NUMBER is NSS ID: NSSGHS3245620
26. In the congratulatory msg, you will see the national service scheme(NSS) number.
27. Save the NSS NUMBER because it’s important.
